Our recent Virtual Birding Event was a tremendous success! We had a wonderful turnout of bird enthusiasts, nature lovers, and community members who gathered online to explore the incredible avian life that calls Lakeshore State Park home.

During the session, our expert hosts highlighted the diverse bird species that utilize the park’s unique urban oasis—from seasonal migratory waterfowl seeking refuge on the lagoon to the raptors and songbirds that grace our prairies. It was an inspiring look at how crucial our park’s restored habitats are for Wisconsin’s native wildlife.
